VLOG2 A Cautionary Tale about Pre-Treating Fabrics.

Yes, that's right. ANOTHER BLOG POST! WITH VIDEO!

In other news I have cut out in five hours two lady skater dresses, a lady skater t-shirt hack, a dress for my daughter AND the Tofino pj pants. I'm taking them all with me to my friends house along with my two main machines. My Brother sewing machine and Singer 4-thread serger.

See y'all later!

  2. Love the VLogs...keep 'em coming :) On the subject of pre-treating fabrics, I learned that one long ago from a similar experience. Now, whenever fabric comes in my door it goes directly to the wash before it makes it to my sewing room; then I know for certain that anything I pull from my collection to work on is ready to go after ironing. It sure was a bugger when I first started this process and had to wash all that I had in stock because I didn't know what had and what had not yet been done. Fortunately I tend to keep my stash limited to three underbed-sized storage bins and it only took a couple of days to get them all laundered.

    1. I TRY to do that, but for whatever reason I thought I'd just dry clean this skirt. It was a total DERPYDOOO moment.

  3. I'm liking the vlogs! Sometimes it's just easier to talk about something rather than type it all out. So keep' em coming when you're in the mood to do so.
